Regardless of the type of mixer, Johns Motor Service can provide service and maintenance. For multiple unit owners, a ‘whole of life’ service/maintenance contract based on unlimited m3 throughout pricing can be negotiated.

This can be tailored to the basic customer’s requirements, or a fixed-price scheduled hydraulic servicing can be provided at a fixed price. Our goal at Johns Motor Service is to offer you a quality service that caters to your particular needs.

Additionally, John’s Motor Service keeps a wide range of service exchange parts on hand, such as. Motors, gearboxes, and controls for hydraulic pumps and motors.

Maha Truck Brake Tester

Our technicians at Johns Motor Service are trained in using the world’s leading German-engineered MAHA roller brake tester, which is the world’s leading brake tester in its field.

There are a number of benefits associated with the MAHA brake tester, including a dynamic deceleration system, and this unit not only presents excellent repeatability, but also a printed report that has a time and date stamp.

In MAHA’s brake tester range, the MBT7250 is the most powerful machine in the range, and it has an axle loading capacity of 18 tons.

For heavy vehicles with a high load/empty ratio to be tested, a simulation of a load is required in case loading the vehicles is not always possible, which is the case when testing their braking performance.

As part of the test of braking performance, the roller set is raised, so that the axle load is increased. This is done by unloading the other axles and placing the entire weight of the structure on the axle that is being tested.

In 90% of the cases, this solution has been found to be capable of providing the axle load required without further fixing to the vehicle, according to the experience of international testing organisations
